WATCH: Ben McLemore throws first pitch at St. Louis Cardinals game

Other than black and purple, Ben McLemore bleeds red, white and navy blue. The Sacramento Kings rookie recently got the experience of a lifetime when the St. Louis Cardinals invited him to throw out the first pitch at Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates

“Been a Cardinals’ fan my whole life,” McLemore said of the opportunity to step onto mound at Busch Stadium. “It was a blessing for me and my family to get to be on the field and me to throw out the first pitch.”

Did he throw a ball or did he throw a strike? Check out how McLemore fared on the mound in the video below.

In addition to throwing out the first pitch, McLemore also got a chance to meet Yadier Molina prior to the game. Being introduced to the Cardinals catcher tipped off what turned into an exciting day of baseball for the Kings shooting guard.
