The Donté Greene Charity Poker Tournament

While the lockout trudges on, Kings fourth year small forward Donté Greene has continued to be active in the Sacramento community.  Most of you know about the Goon Squad Classic set for this coming Sunday, but many of you do not know about the Donté Greene Charity Poker Tournament he is hosting this Friday evening in Roseville.  Here are some of the specifics:

When: Friday, November 18, 2011

Where: Roseville Health and Wellness Center
1650 Lead Hill Blvd., Roseville, CA  95661

Admission: $100
VIP seat at Donte Greene’s table: $250

Check In: 4:45 PM – 5:45 PM
Tournament Begins: 6:00 PM

A portion of the proceeds go to the American Diabetes Association and you can register by clicking here.  At last check, there were still a few seats available.

While most of the Kings players are out of town due to the lockout, there will be a host of local celebrities and some really cool prizes, including the uniform worn by Tyreke Evans during the USO for Troops game where he hit the game winner at the buzzer (see video below).  Who knows, you might even get a chance to go head-to-head against Jon Santiago or myself in a poker show down.
