Kings invite six to May pre-draft workout

The Sacramento Kings announced this afternoon they will invite six college prospects for a workout at their practice facility on Friday.

None are considered elite options in the draft, but they do share local ties. Corey Hawkins, Mikh McKinney, Alan Williams and Will Davis II all played for California universities, while Davis II and Charles Jackson grew up in Sacramento. McKinney’s hometown is Union City.

Shaquielle McKissic is the only player with no California connections. The full list is below.


Corey Hawkins, UC Davis – age 23, 6-foot-2, 192 pounds – guard

2014-15 Senior stats: 20.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals, 3.0 turnovers (28 games)


Mikh McKinney, Sacramento State – age 23, 6-foot-1, 170 pounds – guard

2014-15 Senior stats: 19.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2.4 steals, 2.1 turnovers (32 games)


Shaquielle McKissic, Arizona State – age 24, 6-foot-5, 200 pounds – forward

2014-15 Senior stats: 12.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.4 turnovers (34 games)


Alan Williams, UC Santa Barbara – age 22, 6-foot-8, 264 pounds – forward/center

2014-15 Senior stats: 17.3 points, 11.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.8 blocks, 2.0 turnovers (26 games)


Charles Jackson, Tennessee Tech – age 22, 6-foot-10, 225 pounds – forward/center

2014-15 Junior stats: 13.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 1.3 blocks, 1.6 turnovers (30 games)


Will Davis II, UC Irvine – age 22, 6-foot-8, 209 pounds – forward
