Time to hit the books, or playbooks for the Sacramento Kings. Two years after hosting their preseason training camp at UC Santa Barbara, the team officially announced its plans to hold practices at UC San Diego’s RIMAC Arena from September 29 to October 3.

Furthermore the Kings’ annual media day will take place at their Sacramento practice facility on September 28.  The three-hour afternoon event will include the entire training camp roster and coaching staff as they suit up to take team photos and film advertisements.

The Kings’ first preseason game is October 5 against the Trail Blazers in Portland. Sacramento travels to play the Phoenix Suns on October 7 before flying home to take on the San Antonio Spurs, October 8 at Sleep Train Arena.

Then the Kings host the Trail Blazers on October 10 and take on the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas on October 13. Sacramento wraps up its preseason slate facing the New Orleans Pelicans at Rupp Arena, the Kentucky Wildcats’ gym on October 17.
