DeMarcus Cousins to sit versus Detroit Pistons due to back spasms

The Sacramento Kings big man will sit out tonight’s game against Detroit according to Jason Jones of the Sac Bee on Twitter.

Until tonight, Cousins has played in all but one game this season.  Due to disciplinary issues, he was sent home by former head coach Paul Westphal before a New Year’s Day win over the New Orleans Hornets.  Tonight will be the first contest Cousins misses due to injury.
