City of Sacramento seeking input on downtown arena project

The city of Sacramento is seeking feedback on the plan to build a new arena at the Downtown Plaza.  Proponents and opponents alike are being invited to offer opinions and ideas at Envision Sacramento, an online forum-like service that takes in community input.

From Envision Sacramento:

Entertainment and Sports Centers (ESCs) have transformed several American downtowns into exciting regional entertainment centers and further served as a catalyst for jobs and economic development. Sacramento is presently working on an ESC to be built in Downtown Sacramento.

We would like to hear your thoughts about how we can leverage this opportunity to enrich our downtown and the region with a new ESC. The feedback you provide to the City will help in making Sacramento’s ESC a transformative and exciting project for this region.

The brief four-question survey will be available to answer for the next two weeks.  Here’s a link if you’d like to participate.
