Ben McLemore is making a change to his inner circle.  Sources confirmed to Cowbell Kingdom early on Wednesday that McLemore recently parted ways with agent Rodney Blackstock.  Following practice today, McLemore addressed the issue with the media.

“It was a man decision,” McLemore said.  “It was something that I had to figure out on my own and make a decision for myself.”

“The decision’s already made,” the former Kansas star added.  “It’s in process and I’m moving on.”

Despite Blackstock’s lack of experience as a sports agent and rumors of inappropriate dealings with college athletes, McLemore stayed loyal to him before last summer’s draft.

McLemore hasn’t set a timetable for adding a new agent, but his contract for the 2015-16 season was picked up last week by the Kings.
