Lost in the headlines of the Sacramento Kings relocation saga, the NBA announced yesterday its list of early entry candidates for this year’s draft.  The pool consists of 77 players, 46 of whom are from American colleges to go along with 31 international prospects.

Among the notable entries are Trey Burke of Michigan, Michael Carter-Williams of Syracuse, Shabazz Muhammad of UCLA, Cody Zeller of Indiana and Nerlens Noel of Kentucky.  The Kings finished with the sixth worst record in the NBA this year, meaning they have a 6.3 percent chance of winning the No.1 overall pick.  The NBA Draft Lottery will be held on Tuesday, May 21.

The league required that all players hoping to be eligible for the 2013 NBA Draft submitted a letter of intent no later than this past Sunday, April 28.  The prospects listed below can withdraw from the draft by informing the league before or by 5 pm ET on Monday, June 17.  The draft is scheduled for Thursday, June 27 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
